Chapter 16: The Gifts and its Works II

In the book of Isaiah chapter 60 verse 8, we read;

Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

God has set you on the oath to fulfillment but you must find out what doctrine lies in or is guided by that path.

Let’s read the apostles’ doctrine;

Ephesians 4v12

“to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up”

Acts 2v42-47

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved

1 Timothy 4v14

 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery

Your gifts becomes neglected and actually dormant when it is not put to a full use in the place wherein God has placed or called you to.

Each person has been called and positioned by God to a particular place, position, location or “organization” where his gift can be maximally used for profiting – positively affecting other lives and building, edifying the body of Christ.

When you are not in your place and you are not using your gift in the place where He has called you to, then you are making that gift dormant.

Gifts increase in grace and potential as we regularly use them to execute one thing or the other in pursuant of Kingdom objectives.
